Active on the scene since 2016, Mr Cats personal taste in music is largely centred around a mish-mash of all things house and disco, so when seeing him in his natural environment, expect to hear a plethora of 909 drums, funky bass-lines, and as his Dad would say… “repetitive music that should’ve stayed buried in the 80s”.
Over the course of these very interesting and sometimes (oftentimes) hazy years, the cat has some how managed to claw his way into some of Australia's largest venues and festivals, such as Beyond the Valley, Falls Festival, and Revolver Upstairs, all while holding down residencies at local Geelong watering holes Bloom and Uno.
Not just a pretty face, House Cat is also a pretty good producer! Forging his way into the House scene by utilising his 10+ years of experience playing guitar, bass, and drums to create his signature blend of mediocrity and Ableton.
Despite this, somehow his music has caught the eye of labels such as Hot Sunday records, Baikonur recordings, and Club love, in addition to garnering support from some of dance musics biggest artists (DJ snake, Ritchie Hawtin, Shiba San, and Format:B spring to mind).
Minimal skill, maximum passion, Never forget others, Always forget your headphones.
